GPS Navigator with HERE, OSM and other maps

CityGuide is a new-generation offline GPS navigator that allows you to select and use maps from various map vendors:

• OSM (OpenStreetMap), the project that creates and distributes free geographic data for the world. CityGuide maps based on OSM data offer worldwide coverage and regular updates.
• HERE (NOKIA) maps, a high-quality collection of paid-for maps.
• CityGuide maps, featuring traffic information and regular updates.
• Other high-quality maps from national map producers.

Each map has different prices, conditions of use, and update frequencies. You can select the maps you need from within the CityGuide application, which provides a short description and star rating for each map. Additionally, there is a trial period available.

CityGuide is an offline navigation system that does not require a permanent internet connection. The selected map data is downloaded to your device, allowing you to use the application without an internet connection and significantly reducing costs.

Other advantages of CityGuide include:

• Smooth operation and rapid route calculation: CityGuide supports built-in hardware acceleration on most devices, offering rapid map manipulation and instant route calculation using available traffic information.
• Daily map updates (online proofing): Changes in road conditions, such as closed roads, no traffic, one-way streets, turn restrictions, and more, are sent to the map daily and used during route calculation. You don't have to wait for the next major map update.
• Patented method of route calculation using traffic information: CityGuide utilizes its patented algorithm 'Jams-2' when calculating routes, taking into account the direction of movement and traffic speeds. If traffic data is unavailable, statistical data is used instead.
• Dynamic Points of Interest (POI) providing warnings of current road events: CityGuide alerts users, both audibly and visually, about various current events along the route, such as police presence, danger areas, speed cameras, traffic accidents, bad roads, traffic jams, and more.
• Speedcams and speed radars: CityGuide offers advance warning of known stationary and portable speed cameras.
• "Friends" and "Comments" services: You can use CityGuide to track the movements of your friends (with their permission) and communicate with them through messages, comments, and plan trips together.
• Walkie-Talkie service: Utilize your GPS navigator as a walkie talkie with Push To Talk (PTT) radio service. Talk to your friends privately or via a public channel, similar to Zello.
• SOS service: From within CityGuide, you can call emergency services or request breakdown assistance (depending on the country).
